Borough Council is accepting letters of interest for vacancies on the Planning Commission and Zoning Hearing Board. Currently there is one seat (term to expire 12/31/18) on the Planning Commission and one seat (term to expire on 12/31/17) on the Zoning Hearing Board. The Planning Commission meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm and the Zoning Hearing Board meets as required. Interested applicants for the Planning Commission are encouraged to attend the PC's next meeting on February 25. Letters of interest/resumes for both vacancies should be sent to Borough Hall or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org by March 2, 2015.

I would like to thank all of the donors to the Police Department’s 2014 Toy Drive. We were once again overwhelmed with the amount of giving and caring that the community demonstrated. I know that the residents were full of the Christmas spirit and provided an abundance of toys for children that will not forget how they felt when they woke up Christmas morning and saw all of the gifts under their tree. Honey Brook Borough Office is a drop off site for worn or damaged US Flags. These flags will be turned over to the VFW for proper destruction.
Distributions are bi-weekly. Upcoming dates are:

The Honey Brook Food Pantry is operating out of the Good Food Distribution Center, 5064 Horseshoe Pike, Honey Brook. The pantry is open to Chester County residents living in the Twin Valley School District or immediate surrounding area. You will need to bring identification showing proof of residency. Individuals may pick up once per month from this location at Door #8. It is requested that you bring reuseable bags.
In the event of severe weather, the Food Pantry will follow the schedule of the Twin Valley School District. Please check their website (www.tvsd.org ) for weather-related school closings. Questions? Call 10-273-6102.
